I wish I could have tried more food. You walk inside and you smell the char of burning wood, so you can tell it's going to be good bbq. I ordered 2 tacos. 1 shrimp and 1 brisket. The shrimp had the bbq burn flavor that makes it so yummy and the brisket just was so soft! It was mush in the best sort of way. And it was super moist. So dry brisket in this place. I also ordered the nachos and added brisket instead of carnitas. Seriously some of the best nachos I've ever had. And each bite had something on it. I dislike when there's not enough toppings, but I didn't have that problem here. Just all around good American vibe and I'm dreaming of coming back to this place already!

I stumbled upon this when I was looking for a bbq spot near work. I ordered a side of brisket, macaroni and cheese, and Caesar salad. Caesar salad was standard. I finished it. I don't have any complaints. I was a bit disappointed in the macaroni and cheese though. It was a bit dry and lacked flavor. However, I loved the brisket. It was full of flavor and well-cooked. I ordered my food for pick up and I was glad that everything I would need was in the bag without me asking. Because I had the food as takeouts, I cannot comment too much on the ambiance.

Excellent BBQ and service. I tried nearly everything on their menu at a group dinner and it was all very good. Notable standouts for me were the brisket, which was as good as the brisket I tried in Austin, the tri tip, the pulled pork, and the smoked shrimp. The sides were excellent as well, especially the mac and cheese, sweet beans, cole slaw, and brussel sprouts. The service was also top notch and attentive. We never had an empty plate or drink very long. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who likes BBQ in SoCal.

Smash Burger! Oh man, when I say Top Tier!!! If you care about the quality of a patty you've come to the right place. Perfect sear, cooked medium well, not extra frills but great quality all around. The smokiness of the ground brisket paired with their white cheddar is out of this world. (There's a subtle spicy note of what reminds me of horse rasish - it works and makes this all around a unique but perfect bite) OC officially has a staple for good BBQ!!

Summary: Texas Style BBQ From the same family that created Hole Mole comes a Hole Smokes. I tried their sampler platter that consist of tritip, brisket and ribs. Brisket was half fatty and half meaty. Ribs had a deep smokey flavor with a nice crust. Everyone on the table favorite was the tritip which was balanced, not juicy and not bland nor too salkty. I am no expert on BBQ but this is pretty good BBQ place. Also order mac and cheese which the kids loved and their toasted bread was nice and airy.

The tri tip was very flavorful and melted in your mouth. It was tender and very moist. The pork ribs were excellent firm flavorful, juicy, tender and had just the perfect amount of bark. The barbecue sauce was excellent not too sweet and had a little tanginess to it. We will be back !

A very solid place to get Southern style BBQ. It was pretty empty when we went, but our server was very attentive and checked in with us often. There are lots of TVs around playing various sports games, but overall the place isn't too loud. Food is great. It tastes very similar to BBQ that I've had in the South, especially the smokiness on the meats. I went here for a friend's birthday, so we wanted to celebrate and didn't really care for the prices. I will say, however, that if I would not frequent this place only because it is a bit expensive for what you get. Here's what we ordered: Ribs: Enjoyed my first round of ribs, enjoyed my second round even more. These were so good. A sweet, sticky glaze coats the outside of these juicy ribs. It's so tender and so easy to eat. It just falls off the bone (and there aren't a lot of bones, either). Brisket: Ordered two rounds of this as well. Super fatty, tried poking it with my fork but it just fell off so I gave up and ate with my hands. This was probably my favorite meat out of the three that we tried. The meat itself is riddled with smokiness. Tri tip: This was also very delicious, but not as fatty as the brisket. It was a much leaner cut, but I also enjoyed it. We only got a round of this cut since there was nothing that special about it, but overall still very flavorful. Mac and cheese: Just your classic mac and cheese. Sauce was on the runnier side, but I liked the spiral macaroni they used because it caught onto the sauce very well. It was a bit more bland than expected compared to all the other food. Brussel sprouts: I recommended we get these to my friends mainly because of some bomb brussel sprouts I tried elsewhere. They tasted very similar, if not the same. They were fried and crispy, yet still had a bite to it. There was a sweet glaze that they coated the brussel sprouts in. Cornbread: Very good, nothing that special about it. It was a lot larger than we thought and was grainier than some other types of cornbreads. It came with this whipped cream cheese, kind of like one you could put on cinnamon rolls. What we ended up doing was a make-your-own plate, which we thought was the most worth. Ended up being about $40pp. Really great service, they were near closing but we wanted to put an extra round of orders, which they did with a smile. Very welcoming and grateful for how fast it was!

I have been seeing their ads on IG and wanted to check them out so we met some friends here for lunch. We started with the Queso Compuesto, a warm, cheesy dip with chili, guac, pico de gallo, and served with chips. That was delicious! We asked for more chips and they brought them out no problem. Very good appetizer, would definitely get this again. I had the 3 meat combo with shrimp, tri-tip, and a hot link. For sides I had their mac & cheese and cornbread cake. Husband got pork ribs, a hot link, cornbread cake, and potato salad. He asked about their Dino Rib, waiter explained it's served by the pound and would be about $50 - $60 per rib. We decided not to get that. Maybe next time! The tri-tip, links, and pork ribs were great! I think the tri-tip was my favorite, it was so soft and juicy! My husband is a big smoker, and I felt the shrimp he makes is better, theirs was just ok. The mac could have been tasty, but seemed old and reheated, I barely ate any of it. Potato salad was good, heavy on the yellow mustard flavor. The cornbread cake was AMAZING. It's a large piece of super sweet cornbread with cinnamon either in it, or in the butter. Fantastic! We each brought over half of ours home to enjoy later. One of our friends had a burger that he liked, we didn't try it. Our other friend got the same meats as us, but also got their brisket, which I did enjoy. The slice was very thick and tender. I liked all of their BBQ sauces, with my favorite being the honey mustard. Lunch was about $50 a person after tax and tip, and since we took a lot home, I thought it was reasonable. I would definitely eat here again. The service was great, place was clean and the food was solid!
